Go up the main street and just before reaching the square make a stop at the Ahorí gate (made by Ándrés de Vandelvira).
If you go up and turn right you are in the main square next to the Town Hall.
Between the savings markets of Ahorí and the market of the regatería is the arch of the shoe store. Go up there to walk the path of the cemetery.
On the way you will find the ruins of an old Arab mosque, and a little further up the cemetery.
Did you know that in Alcaraz there is the tombstone of a famous bandit?
"El Pernales" had a romantic reputation as a vigilante who robbed the rich to give to the poor, but he was undoubtedly one of the bloodiest bandits in history, whose nickname comes from the word flint, a hard silica stone used as a simile of the harsh feelings of the bandit.
Once in the cemetery find the tombstone of Pernales and one of his cronies "El Niño del Arahal".
